Tournament Rules

RULES:

Tournament Director Association (TDA) rules will be used.

ANTE FORMAT

Big Blind Ante – Big Blind is paid before the Ante.

SHOT CLOCK & TIME BANKS

Shot Clocks will be used throughout the tournament.

For all tournaments, the first preflop action for each player is 20 seconds. All subsequent actions and the use of postflop time bank are 30 seconds.

For all Satellites, Turbo NLH and Hyper Turbo, each rounds are 20 seconds (Preflop, Flop, Turn, River).

A hand at play will be forfeited immediately after the time on the Shot Clock expires, if the player is out of Time Bank cards.

Time Bank cards are non-transferable and must be visible on the table at all times.

The Shot Clock will be paused if the dealer needs to count out a bet of multiple chips that have multiple denominations and stacks.

BEST STACK FORWARD POLICY:

Players that qualify to Day 2 from a previous Day 1 flight may re-enter a new Starting Day.

Players qualifying with multiple stacks to Day 2 will only play their largest stack. Other stacks will be removed from play. If Day 2 is already ITM, each additional stack will receive a minimum prize payout.

Players are allowed to forfeit their stack before the close of registration to re-enter.

NON-SMOKING RULE:

Players are not allowed to smoke in the tournament area, violating this rule may result in a penalty.

Players caught smoking at the table will receive a one-round penalty.

E-cigarettes are not allowed.

HAND FOR HAND:

Bubble time includes less than 9 Tables: Hand for hand with 1 player.

Bubble time includes 9 Table and above: Hand for hand with 2 players.

The Tournament Director may initiate hand for hand play at any time when deemed necessary.

NOTES:

4% of the prize pool of all numbered events (satellites are excluded) will be withheld to cover staff costs.

Players must be of minimum 18 years of age to register for the tournament.

The management reserves the right to cancel guarantee(s) due to Force Majeure: Earthquake, Flooding and/or Typhoon.

The management reserves the right to alter, change, or cancel the tournament and will not be held responsible in the event of typographical errors or misinformation on the website or printed material pertaining to this event and players will not have claim in these matters.

The Tournament Director has the discretion to stop any events and restart next day.

RE-ENTRY RULES:

Unlimited re-entry is allowed until registration ends.

ELECTRONIC DEVICES AND COMMUNICATION – CLARIFICATION:

For the avoidance of doubt, the term Electronic Device includes, but is not limited to, the following devices, both known and unknown. Electronic Devices are not permitted to be placed on the playing surface (i.e. Felt) at any time, without specific permission from the Ha Noi Series Of Poker. Players are allowed to place items on the rail but the HSOP reserves the right to ask for the removal of any devices from the table at their sole discretion.

To re-emphasize TDA Rule #5 – Use of electronic devices while in a hand is not allowed and may incur a penalty.

The use of solvers or any form of real time assistance (RTA) while in a hand is not allowed and may incur a penalty.

There will be no electronic devices permitted on any live streaming tables.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE:

All events allow the use of the English language. For events with a localized tournament staff, the local language is also allowed.

REGISTRATION SEATING:

During registration new player may choose to wait for the button to pass if they would receive 2 or fewer hands before the big blind.

Once registration closes, all waiting players are dealt in immediately.
