2 September holds a special place in Vietnam’s history. On this day in 1945, at Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, proclaiming the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Eighty-one years on, National Day remains a time for Vietnamese people to reflect on their history, cherish independence and look ahead to the future.

The red flag with its golden star reflects national pride on Vietnam’s National Day.

In this spirit, HSOP extends its National Day greetings to the entire community. We also thank the players, partners and staff whose contributions have helped make each series a source of memorable competition and shared experiences.

For HSOP, every series is also an opportunity to bring together poker communities from Vietnam and around the world. These gatherings in Hanoi create connections while introducing international visitors to Vietnam’s people, culture and hospitality.

HSOP celebrates 81 years of Vietnam’s National Day — 2 September 1945–2 September 2026.

On National Day, 2 September, HSOP wishes all players, partners and their families a peaceful, joyful and meaningful holiday. Thank you for your trust and support throughout our journey.

Happy Vietnam National Day!
